Bundle builder allows you to create customizable product bundles in your Shopify store. With the builder, shoppers can mix and match products, build their own kits, gift boxes, or combo offers, and instantly see applied discounts.

Here are the steps to create bundle builder:

Step 1: Access to MBC Bundle Builder

  1. On your dashboard, navigate to MBC Bundle Builder

  2. Click to 'Create builder'

Step 2: Add product (or collections)

In the Builder structure section, you can decide whether to display all the products that can be bundled or with multiple steps.

  1. Click to Step #1

  2. Under the Products section, choose whether you want to add specific products or entire collections.

  3. Click Add products/Add collections to select what customers can bundle.

  4. If you select products option, then you can mark some products as required. Meaning, your shoppers won’t be able to finish the bundle without adding them.

Note: You can add as many steps as needed for your bundle builder.

Click Add step if you want to break the process into several stages.

  • Example: Step 1 = choose a base product, Step 2 = add accessories.

Step 3: Set conditions (optional)

Conditions control when customers can move to the next step.

This is an optional settings. If you don't set any condition, shoppers can complete the step without any conditions.

Click 'Add conditions' to set condition rules.

Note: You can add as many conditions as needed for your bundle builder.

  • Examples:

    • Require a minimum number of items.

    • Limit bundles to certain price ranges.

    • Ensure a mix of different products.

  • Use AND to make multiple rules apply together.

  • Use OR if only one of the rules needs to be true.

Step 4: Add step details (optional)

  • Give the step a name (like β€œPick your base items”).

  • Add a description to explain what customers should do

Step 5: Set up discounts

In the Builder pricing section, you can set discounts or include free product.

You can choose one of the discount types:

  1. No discount – bundle has the total price of regular product prices.

  2. Free product – add a bonus item to bundles.

  3. Discount on total bundle price – apply percentage or fixed discounts.

Note: You can add as many discount rates and conditions as needed for your bundle builder.

You can choose how the discount is applied:

1. Percentage:

  • Example: 10% off the total bundle.

  • If the bundle costs $120, the customer pays $108.

2. Fixed Discount:

  • Example: $20 off the total bundle.

  • If the bundle costs $120, the customer pays $100.

3. Fixed Price:

  • Example: Bundle is always $99 (no matter the individual product prices).

  • If the items add up to $150, the final checkout price is still $99.

Combining discount conditions:

  • AND β†’ all rules must be true.

    • Example: Price β‰₯ $100 AND Number of products β‰₯ 3.

  • OR β†’ at least one rule must be true.

    • Example: Price β‰₯ $100 OR Number of products β‰₯ 5.

Step 6: Customize builder details

  • Pick a layout:

    • Default – steps shown one after another.

    • Accordion – steps collapsed/expandable.

  • Add a builder title (visible in your store).

  • Write a short builder description (shown under the title to explain the offer).

  • Set an internal name (visible only in the app dashboard for your own tracking).

Step 6: Save and test

Once you have set up everything, click save.

Don't forget to test the builder in your storefront.
