BOGO (Buy One Get One) is a sales model where customers buy a product (or group of products) and receive another one for free.

With BOGO, you can encourage shoppers to add more to their carts while rewarding them with free products.

Here are the steps to create BOGO in MBC Bundle Builder:

Step 1: Access to MBC Bundle Builder

  1. On your dashboard, navigate to MBC Bundle Builder

  2. Click to 'Create builder'

Step 2: Add products (or collections)

  1. Under Products, select whether you want to add specific Products or entire Collections.

  2. Click Add products and choose the items eligible for the BOGO offer.

πŸ’‘ You can mark some products as Required, meaning your shoppers won’t be able to complete the bundle without them.

Step 3: Add conditions (optional)

Adding conditions is optional, but they help you control when the free product becomes available.

Examples:

  • Buy One, Get One Free

    • Add a condition β†’ Number of products is greater than or equal to 2.

    • This ensures customers must add at least 2 items (the one they buy + the one they get free).

  • Buy Two, Get One Free

    • Add a condition β†’ Number of products is greater than or equal to 3.

    • This requires shoppers to add 3 items in total before completing the step.

Step 4: Set pricing

  1. Scroll down to Builder pricing.

  2. Select Free product.

  3. Choose the step that contains the products eligible to be given for free.

πŸ‘‰ This tells the app: β€œThe free product will come from this step.”

πŸ’‘ Tip: If you want to limit how many free items can be added, use Step conditions in that step (e.g., only 1 free item allowed).

Step 5: Save and test

  • Click Save.

  • Use Preview to walk through the BOGO flow.

    • Add products and confirm that one item becomes free.

    • Check that conditions (like minimum product count) are enforced.
