Percentage discounts let you reduce the total price of a bundle by a certain percentage once customers meet your rules. For example, “Buy 3 products, get 10% off” or “Spend $200, get 20% off.”
Here are the steps to create percentage discounts in MBC Bundle Builder:
Step 1: Access to MBC Bundle Builder
On your dashboard, navigate to MBC Bundle Builder
Click to 'Create builder'
Step 2: Add products (or collections)
Under Products, choose whether to add specific Products or entire Collections.
Click Add products and select the items eligible for the discount.
💡 You can mark some products as Required if you want them to always be included in the bundle.
Step 3: Add conditions for products (optional)
Conditions here control how customers build the bundle before they can move forward.
Examples:
Fixed number of products → Number of products is equal to 4.
Minimum number of products → Number of products is greater than or equal to 3.
👉 These conditions are optional. Use them only if you want to enforce a minimum or fixed bundle size before applying discounts.
Step 4: Set percentage discount
Scroll down to Builder pricing.
Select Discount on total bundle price.
In Discount rate 1, choose Percentage and enter the discount value (e.g., 20%).
Step 5: Add discount conditions
Discount conditions control when the percentage discount is applied. You can base them on Price, Number of products, or Number of different products.
Click to 'Add conditions' to define the conditions.
Examples:
Buy more, save more
Discount: 20%
Condition: Number of products is greater than or equal to 3.
Spend threshold discount
Discount: 20%
Condition: Price is greater than or equal to $200.
Mix & Match discount
Discount: 20%
Condition: Number of different products is greater than or equal to 5.
👉 You can add multiple discount rates for tiered offers (e.g., 10% off at 3 items, 15% off at 5 items, 20% off at 8 items).
Step 6: Save and test
Click Save.
Use Preview to walk through the bundle builder.
Add products and confirm the percentage discount applies only when the discount conditions are met.
Check that product/collection conditions (if added) are enforced correctly.
