There are three effective ways to make your MBC Bundle Builder page visible and accessible to your customers. Choose the method that best suits your store's setup and customer experience goals.

Method 1: Adding URL to Navigation

This approach creates a dedicated page for your bundle builder that customers can access through your site navigation.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Enable the app extension in your theme

  • Go to Online store → Themes → Customize active theme

  • Click on "App embeds"

  • Enable the 'MBC Builder

  • Custom boxes' app extension

  • Click 'Save'

2. Create your bundle builder and get the URL

  • Create your bundle in the MBC Builder app

  • Click the 'Preview' button

  • Copy the preview URL from your browser's address bar

3. Add the link to your navigation

  • Go to Online store → Navigation

  • Select the menu where you want to add the builder page

  • Click 'Add menu item'

  • Enter a name (e.g., "Custom Bundle") and paste the copied URL

  • Click 'Add' This creates a dedicated page that customers can access directly from your navigation menu.

Method 2: Placing the Builder in a Specific Location

If you want to display the bundle builder on a specific page or section of your store:

1. Enable the app extension (as described in Method 1)

2. Add the bundle builder section to your desired location

  • Go to Online store → Themes → Customize active theme

  • Navigate to the page where you want to add the builder

  • Click 'Add section' and select 'Builder widget' from the Apps tab

  • Enter your specific Builder ID in the settings panel

  • Click 'Save'

This method allows you to integrate the bundle builder directly into your store's layout at a specific location.

Method 3: Using Templates, Metafields and Dynamic ID

This advanced method allows you to create multiple pages with different bundles using page templates:

1. Enable the app extension (as described in Method 1)

2. Create a metafield for Builder ID

  • Go to Settings → Custom data → Metafields → Pages

  • Click 'Add definition'

  • Enter: Name - 'Builder id', Key - 'mbcb.builder_id', Type - 'Integer, one value'

  • Click 'Save'

3. Create a page template with the Builder widget

  • Go to Online store → Theme → Customize

  • Click on your page type in the header and choose 'Pages'

  • Click 'Create template' and give it a name

  • Add section → Apps → Choose 'Builder widget'

  • Click 'Connect dynamic source' → Select 'Builder ID'

  • Click 'Save'

4. Create pages using this template

  • Go to Online store → Pages → Add page

  • Add a Title and select your builder template

  • In the Metafields block, click "Show all"

  • Enter your specific Builder ID in the 'Builder id' field

  • Click 'Save'

This method provides the most flexibility, allowing you to create multiple pages with different bundle builders. By implementing any of these methods, your customers will be able to easily find and use the MBC Bundle Builder to create their custom product bundles, ultimately increasing your average order value and providing a more personalized shopping experience.
