Gift Boxes allow shoppers to start with a “box” or “base” product, then add items to customize the gift. This setup is perfect for holidays, birthdays, or curated product sets.
Step 1: Access to MBC Bundle Builder
On your dashboard, navigate to MBC Bundle Builder
Click to 'Create builder'
Step 2: Add the Gift Box base (required product)
In Step #1, click Add products.
Add the box itself (or packaging) as a required product.
Check Required so customers cannot complete the bundle without adding it.
💡 Example: “Gift Box Packaging” must always be part of the order.
Step 3: Add products for customers to choose from
Click to '+ Add step #2'
Create another step (e.g., Step #2: Choose your items).
Add the products or collections that shoppers can place inside the gift box.
You can leave these optional (unlimited selection) or apply conditions to guide choices.
Examples of conditions:
Number of products = 3 → customer must choose exactly 3 items.
Number of products ≥ 2 → customer must add at least 2 items.
Number of different products ≥ 3 → encourages variety in the gift box.
Step 4: Add optional add-ons (extra step)
Create another step (e.g., Step #3: Add extras).
Add upsell items such as cards, wrapping, or premium products.
Conditions are optional here — leave it flexible to allow customers to add extras at will.
Step 5: Set pricing for the Gift Box
Scroll to Builder pricing. You can choose:
No discount → Customers pay regular product prices (ideal if the “box” has its own price).
Percentage discount → e.g., 10% off the total gift box.
Fixed discount → e.g., $5 off if at least 3 products are added.
Free product → e.g., add “Gift Wrapping” for free (select the step that contains the wrapping product).
💡 Example setups:
Number of products ≥ 3 → 10% off.
Price ≥ $100 → Free “Greeting Card” product.
Step 6: Save and test
Click Save.
Use Preview to walk through the flow:
Make sure the base box is required.
Confirm that customers can add items, extras, and see the correct discounts.
Check that free products (if used) apply correctly.
