Fixed discounts let you subtract a specific dollar amount from the total bundle price once customers meet your conditions. For example, β€œGet $10 off when you buy 3 products” or β€œSpend $100, get $20 off.”

Step 1: Access to MBC Bundle Builder

  1. On your dashboard, navigate to MBC Bundle Builder

  2. Click to 'Create builder'

Step 2: Add products (or collections)

  1. Under Products, choose whether to add specific Products or entire Collections.

  2. Click Add products and select the items eligible for the discount.

πŸ’‘ Mark products as Required if they must always be included in the bundle.

Step 3: Add product conditions (optional)

Product conditions control how customers build their bundle before moving to checkout.

Examples:

  • Fixed number of products β†’ Number of products is equal to 4.

  • Minimum number of products β†’ Number of products is greater than or equal to 3.

πŸ‘‰ These are optional. Use them only if you want to define a box size or set a minimum entry point before the discount can apply.

Step 4: Set fixed discount

  1. Scroll down to Builder pricing.

  2. Select Discount on total bundle price.

  3. In Discount rate 1, choose Fixed discount and enter the discount value (e.g., $10).

Step 5: Add discount conditions

Discount conditions decide when the fixed discount is applied. You can base them on Price, Number of products, or Number of different products.

Click to 'Add conditions' to define the conditions.

Examples:

  • Quantity-based discount

    • Discount: $10 off

    • Condition: Number of products is greater than or equal to 3.

  • Spend threshold discount

    • Discount: $20 off

    • Condition: Price is greater than or equal to $100.

  • Variety discount

    • Discount: $15 off

    • Condition: Number of different products is greater than or equal to 4.

πŸ‘‰ You can add multiple discount rates for tiered offers. Example:

  • Number of products β‰₯ 3 β†’ $10 off.

  • Number of products β‰₯ 5 β†’ $20 off.

Step 6: Save and test

  • Click Save.

  • Use Preview to test the discount logic:

    • Add products and confirm that the fixed discount applies only when the discount conditions are met.

    • Check that product conditions (if added) are enforced properly.
